BHARATIYATA : GOING BACK TO THE ROOTS

Envisioning the Role of Vishwa Guru Through the Wisdom of the Vedas

In the heart of the Bharatiya subcontinent lies a treasure trove of knowledge and wisdom that has the potential to guide the world towards enlightenment and harmony. As Bharat strides forward on the global stage, it is time to embrace its rich heritage from the Vedic age and assume the role of Vishwa Guru – a world teacher. The Vedas, ancient scriptures that form the bedrock of Indian civilization, offer timeless wisdom that is increasingly relevant in our contemporary world. FAIDA Bharat is inspired and deeply rooted to these treasure trove of knowledge to bring about a chain of natural evolvement across the Bharatiya way of contemporary living especially in the Farming and Cultivation culture!

The Essence of the Vedas

The term ‘Veda’ emanates from the Sanskrit root ‘vid’, meaning ‘to know’, signifying a vast collection of knowledge and wisdom. Far from being a singular literary work, the Vedas comprise an extensive corpus of literature that has evolved over centuries, preserved and passed down through generations via an oral tradition. This body of knowledge is referred to as ‘Shruti’, which means ‘what is heard’, highlighting its distinction from ‘Smriti’ texts, which were written by sages at a later stage, encapsulating the teachings of the Vedas.

The Divine Origin of Vedic Wisdom

In the tradition of Bharatiya thought, the Vedas are considered not just texts, but revelations of eternal truths, self-evident and self-authoritative, transcending human authorship. The hymns and verses found within the Vedas were perceived and vocalized by the ancient seers or ‘Rishis’, who were conduits for this divine wisdom rather than its creators. These seers received the sacred knowledge through spiritual insight, which was then meticulously preserved and transmitted orally to succeeding generations.

Yaska, an ancient scholar and the earliest known commentator on the Vedas, emphasized that the seers were recipients of this profound knowledge, a notion further supported by the great Vedic commentator Sayana. This tradition underscores the divine and timeless nature of Vedic wisdom, offering insights into the cosmic order and the principles of life and existence.

India's Mission as Vishwa Guru

By reviving and propagating the profound teachings of the Vedas, Bharat can lead the world towards a future marked by spiritual growth, harmony, and sustainable living. The principles embedded within the Vedic texts encompass not only spiritual enlightenment but also practical guidance on governance, social welfare, environmental stewardship, and health, making them incredibly relevant for addressing contemporary challenges.

In assuming the mantle of Vishwa Guru, Bharat’s mission extends beyond merely sharing ancient wisdom; it involves demonstrating how these timeless principles can be applied to modern-day problems, fostering a global community that values wisdom, compassion, and sustainability.

FAIDA Bharat : Towards a Vedic Renaissance

The journey to becoming Vishwa Guru is both an inward journey of rediscovering India’s spiritual roots and an outward journey of sharing this rich heritage with the world. It is a call to honour the legacy of the Vedic Bramharishis and Maharishis by living the values they espoused and by using their insights to guide humanity towards a brighter, more enlightened future.

As we stand at the crossroads of history, the wisdom of the Vedas beckons us to forge a path that leads to knowledge, peace, and unity. India’s role as Vishwa Guru is not just a vision but a responsibility – to illuminate the world with the light of Vedic knowledge and to pave the way for a global renaissance of spiritual and moral values.
